SIMPLE DEFINITION OF DANCE

to move your body in a way that goes with the rhythm and style of music that is being played
to move with and guide (someone) as music plays : to dance with (someone)
to perform (a particular type of dance)

HISTORY

Dancing is just the simple human instinct of move following a sound, a rhythm or a feeling. For this reason it is really difficult to describe when the society started to dance and what kind of dance they were doing. However, and based on the paintings of most ancient civilizations, it is possible to say that dance started as a religious ritual, movements or choreographies with an specific purpose of a religious commemoration.

One of the older dance techniques is ballet; this technique had origin in France in the 16th century, and since then the dance started to have another meaning, people start to feel the dance as an entertainment and they were able to pay just for enjoy a good performance.

Nowadays dance have evolved, as everyone can notice dance and music are really related, therefore when music changes from decade to decade dance does it too. In this moment we can find hundreds of different dance styles, but at the same time that some dance styles are being created with the change of music and society there is a lot of dance styles that are dying.

DANCING STYLES

There are many styles of dancing which include ballroom, jazz, latin, international, professional, modern, hip hop & funk. These styles have given us dances such as ballet, tap dance, belly dance, salsa, swing and tango.

UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL DANCING STYLES
